Why Enclosed Transport Matters for Your Motorcycle
An interstate trip puts a motorcycle through plenty of exposure to the elements. Rain, dust, road grime and stones are all part of travelling long distances on Australian roads. An enclosed transport unit removes much of that exposure.
Your motorcycle stays inside the enclosed container for the journey rather than travelling exposed on an open trailer. This is particularly useful for bikes with fresh paint, polished components, custom finishes, fairings or other parts that you don’t want exposed to road debris.
Before loading, we also look at the bike itself. Wide handlebars, panniers, fairings, lowered suspension and other modifications can affect how a motorcycle needs to be positioned and secured.
How We Handle Your Motorcycle Before and During Transport?
Before loading, we inspect the bike, record its condition and prepare it for transport inside the enclosed container.
Motorcycle Inspection at Collection
Before loading, our handlers inspect the motorcycle and record any existing marks, damage or other visible details.
Customer-Signed Condition Report
The inspection is recorded on a condition report for the customer to review. You can check the details and sign the report before the motorcycle is loaded.
You receive a copy of the report for your records.
Preparing the Bike for Loading
The loading method depends on the condition and setup of the motorcycle. A running bike can normally be moved into position, while a non-running bike may need additional equipment.
Modifications and accessories are also checked before loading, particularly where they affect the bike's dimensions or the points that can be used for securing.
Loading & Securing
The front wheel is placed into a heavy-duty wheel chock to keep the motorcycle upright.
Soft-loop straps are then positioned around suitable points near the lower forks, away from paint, plastics and cables. Once secured, the motorcycle remains inside the enclosed container for transport.
Enclosed Transit
The motorcycle stays enclosed during the interstate journey, keeping it protected from rain, road grime and stones that can be thrown up during long-distance road travel.
Delivery & Handover
At the destination, the motorcycle is unloaded and handed over at the agreed location.
For depot-to-depot bookings, the customer collects the bike from the nominated depot. For door-to-door bookings, delivery is made to the agreed address where the location is suitable for the transport vehicle.

Running & Non-Running Motorcycle Transport
Not every motorcycle we collect is ready to be ridden or rolled straight into position. Some have a flat battery, mechanical fault, damaged wheel or have been sitting unused for years.
That doesn’t stop the bike from being transported. We just need to know its condition before collection so we can plan the loading.

A running motorcycle can normally be moved into position under its own power before being secured for transport.

Interstate Motorcycle Transport

Melbourne to Perth
For Melbourne to Perth, we can collect from a suitable address or you can drop the bike at our Campbellfield VIC depot. Delivery in Perth can be arranged to an agreed address or through our Kenwick WA depot.
Perth to Melbourne
For the return trip, collection is available around Perth or from Kenwick, with delivery into Melbourne through Campbellfield or to a suitable address.
Sydney to Perth
For Sydney to Perth, collection is available around Sydney or through our Seven Hills NSW depot. In Perth, the bike can be collected from Kenwick or delivered to a suitable address.
Perth to Sydney
The same route works in reverse, with collection around Perth or from Kenwick and delivery into Sydney through Seven Hills or a suitable address.
Adelaide to Perth
Motorcycles travelling from Adelaide to Perth can start from a local address or our Para Hills West SA depot. On arrival in WA, the bike can be collected from Kenwick or delivered to an agreed location.
Perth to Adelaide
For Perth to Adelaide, collection is available around Perth or from Kenwick, with collection at Para Hills West or delivery to a suitable Adelaide address.
Brisbane to Perth
Brisbane to Perth transport is available through local collection or our Yatala QLD depot. At the Perth end, customers can collect from Kenwick or arrange delivery where the address is suitable for the transport vehicle.
Perth to Brisbane
For the return journey, motorcycles can start from Perth or Kenwick and travel to Brisbane. Collection is available from our Yatala depot or delivery can be arranged to a suitable address.

Door-to-Door
We collect the motorcycle from the agreed pickup address and deliver it to the nominated destination.
This is useful when you’re buying from a private seller, moving house, or sending the bike straight to a workshop or dealer. The pickup and delivery location needs to have suitable access for the transport vehicle.
Depot-to-Depot
With depot-to-depot transport, you drop the motorcycle at one of our depots and collect it from the destination depot.

Before collection, make sure we have the right details about the motorcycle and pickup location.
Tell Us About the Bike
Give us the make and model, whether it runs, and any modifications or accessories that change its size.
If it has a flat tyre, damaged wheel, mechanical fault or another issue that affects movement, mention it when booking.
Remove Personal Items
Take off helmets, luggage and other personal belongings before collection. Loose items can move during handling and should not be left with the motorcycle.
Tell Us About Modifications
Custom handlebars, panniers, crash bars, extended parts, lowered suspension and other modifications can change how the bike needs to be positioned.
Give us these details before collection so the loading arrangements can be planned properly.
Check Access at Pickup
Make sure there is suitable access for the collection vehicle. Narrow driveways, steep access, underground car parks and restricted entry can affect where the motorcycle can be collected.
If access is difficult, let us know beforehand rather than leaving it until collection day.
Have the Keys Ready
Keep the motorcycle keys available when the bike is collected. If we’re collecting from a seller, workshop, auction or another third party, make sure they know when the collection is scheduled and where the keys will be.
Take Your Own Photos
We complete a condition inspection before loading, but you can also photograph the motorcycle before collection. Take a few clear photos from different angles so you have your own record of its condition at handover.

What Information Do You Need for a Quote?
